On August 28, 2009 I had the privilege of spending the day with Irv and his sons Don and Dave.  We visited the USS Slater in Albany and had a great time.  Irv will be volunteering on the Slater the first week in October.

I hadn't seen Dave and Irv in over 35 years and Don in about 10, but it felt like we had been together a short time ago.
